The West Hotel & Spa

Location couldn't be more central! Easy access to all the major attactions and restaurants in and around old town/french quarter. Helpfulness and service of Mr. Mike here, it was like having a personal conceirge and butler service from 5 star hotels! He helped arranged everything from tours and transfers to giving us tips and recommendations. Very personal service, thank you! Rooms were quite soundproof and bed and pillows were comfortable. TV could connect to personal Netflix. Very accomodating for big groups and families. English speaking staff that were always available and ready to help. Flexible and helpful in arranging for me to not change to a different room for separate bookings, really appreciated this as I had to book one more night due to a last minute plan change and they were nice to let me have the same room.

The hotel was in a prime location at the Old Quarter. It is 5 minutes walk to the heart and centre of all the actions such as Ho Kiem Lake and the famous Note Coffee house. The night market is also right outside the hotel. What made our stay enjoyable was the warm welcome from the staff especially Leo. Apart from being so friendly, we were very impressed with his attentiveness and professionalism. He exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to made our stay comfortable. Thank you again, Leo. You are amazing!

This property is in an exceptional location, right in the Old Quarter and you step outside the door on a Fri or Sat night right into the market. The staff were exceptional and could not do enough to help. The owner organised all of our trip details for Ha long Bay and the cruise was brilliant. Whilst there I fell ill with a bug and the staff were so helpful and caring. We had our laundry done there and it was returned to our room whilst we were out for the day. On our last day we had to leave early for the airport but they let us have an early breakfast and even packed some sandwiches for us to take to the airport.

Service wise, we'd say that West Hotel and Spa never failed us. Sir Mike and Ms. Chloe, as well as their crews were attentive to their guests' needs. For the location, it's easy to find and is situated at the heart of old quarter. You can reach some tourists spot, cafés, and restaurants by foot. Also, the night market which happen from Friday to Sunday is near the hotel. But it's not that noisy during that time. As for the family room where we stayed at was clean, spacious, and well-equiped. Not to mention the early check-in and early check-out process were smooth. We'll definitely book the hotel again if we come back to Hanoi.

Chloe the Manageress was an excellent hostess. Her recommendations for restaurants were very good she even booked one of them for us. She also printed off important documents for us, and booked transport to the airport. Their system for refilling glass water bottles for our rooms was very good and saved on plastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast was very good.
